Chuck Corrigan is a full-time mediator and arbitrator. In addition to private engagements, he has mediated cases for the Arbitration Service of Portland, the US District Court Volunteer Mediation Program, the Multnomah County Court Mediation Program and the Oregon Appellate Settlement Conference Program. He is an approved arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (Finra), the Arbitration Service of Portland, and the Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington County Circuit Court arbitration programs.
In 2011 Chuck was one of seven Oregon lawyers named by Superlawyers in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is frequently asked to serve as a presenter at legal education seminars on alternative dispute resolution.
Chuck has also been approved by the Oregon Supreme Court to serve as a Circuit Court judge pro tem. He has issued over 150 rulings in summary judgment proceedings.
Before devoting his practice to alternative dispute resolution, Chuck was a trial lawyer with extensive jury trial experience. He knows firsthand what lies ahead in the courtroom for those parties who do not resolve their disputes in mediation or arbitration.
Chuck has experience in disputes concerning:
- Real property: condemnation, purchase and sale, permitting and development, construction, leases, HOA’s, CCR’s, adverse possession, boundary and easement disputes.
- Business: contracts, securities offerings (public and private), entity formation and dissolution, employment, insurance, non-competition agreements.
- Torts: injury, death, product liability, professional negligence, intentional torts, civil rights.
Location: Mediation sessions and arbitration hearings can be held at our office or elsewhere, as the parties determine.
